Lois M. Mathews, 84, of Altoona, died March 17, 2015, at Grace Edgewood in Altoona, WI. She was born in Lowell, WI, on March 6, 1931, the daughter of Ernest and Lulu (Hunter) Schoenberger. Lois is survived by her children, Todd (Kathy) Mathews of Walworth, WI, Holly Mathews of Elk Mound, WI, and Mary (Thomas) Keith of Earl, WI; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Schoenberger of Beaver Dam, WI. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; son, Patrick; parents, Ernest and Lulu; sister, Jean Scherer. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire, with Pastor Michael Wollman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2015, in McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock, IL.
