Lois M. Ring, 72, of 1502 Hogeboom Ave., died Thursday, June 13, 1996 at Luther Hospital. She was born January 25, 1924 in Eau Claire to Wesley and Ida (Robertson) Giles and graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1941. Lois married Ralph J. Ring on February 1, 1947 in Eau Claire. She worked in the reference department of the Eau Claire Public Library for ten years through 1995. \r\nLois had been an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Eau Claire Women's Club. She had loved watching her children and grandchildren participate in their many fast pitch softball and basketball games over the years.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Ralph (Carol) of Rice Lake and Gary (Robin) of Neptune City, NJ; two daughters, Janet (Ron) Strand and Jean (Tim) Eisold all of Eau Claire; eleven grandchildren; one great- granddaughter; two sisters, Eileen (Phil) Meklin of Neptune, NJ, and Jean (Vic) Fischer of Holcombe; many nieces and nephews.\r\nLois was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1982 and her parents.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Monday at St. Johns Lutheran Church with Pastor Ned Lenhart officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.\r\n
