Lola M. Johnson, 78, of Eau Claire, passed on December 31, 2016, at Dove Healthcare West, Eau Claire, surrounded by her family. Lola was born on January 21, 1938, a daughter to Harold and Lillian (Nelson) Felton. She married Albert Johnson on June 22, 1957, and together they raised five children. She loved spending time with family and going to Dells Mill Pond where she enjoyed fishing and going out on the pontoon. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1957 and retired from Luther Hospital. Lola is survived by her husband, Albert; her children, Mark (Marilyn) Johnson, Dave (Kim) Johnson, Steve Johnson, Debra (Kevin) McCarthy, and Dan (Jaki) Johnson; grandchildren, Greg, Chris, Brooke, Jake, Angelic, Brittany, Ashley, Brock, Rhegan, Cole, Bryce, Reed, and Gage; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Conner, Hayden, Landen, Nolan, Aubrey, and Mackenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Elmer and Chuck; and one sister, Harriet Leipnitz. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on January 4, 2016 at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 W. Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire with Pastor Dean Simpson officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
