Obituary

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". John 3:16 Lorene Elvina Hagen, age 75, of Chippewa Falls, WI, passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on June 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 26, 1950, to Myrtle (Nelson) and Theodore "Trygve" Hagen, Lorene lived a life defined by compassion, unwavering faith, and her selfless dedication to others. Lorene was preceded in death by her beloved siblings: Lyle E. Stenseth, Milton A. Stenseth, Manford Lamoine Stenseth, LeRoy Kenneth Stenseth, Arlene M. (Stenseth) Anderson, Shirley L. Stenseth Hasart, Lionel Hagen, Roy Hagen, Orlin Kenneth Hagen, Jeanette Eleanor Hagen Domito, and Loren Milton Hagen. Lorene is survived by her children: Lori Harshman, Tammy Harshman, Kimberly Stockwell, Trygve Harshman, Ryan Ottinger, Billy Harshman, Lorene Harshman, and Tyler Harshman. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy. A devoted woman of faith, Lorene was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army Church, where she found strength, purpose, and community. She dedicated her life caring for others, both professionally and personally and affectionately known as "Blondie" by those she cared for. Lorene was known for her warmth, selflessness and kind-heartedness towards everyone she met. Her gentle spirit touched countless lives and will be remembered by all who knew her. Lorene found great pleasure in cooking and baking for her loved ones. Her meals were more than just food, they were expressions of love, and her unforgettable recipes will continue to bring comfort and solace to her family. She was an avid animal lover as well, especially her dogs- where she found true happiness in their companionship. Family was everything to Lorene and her constant reminder to always be kind and respectful will forever stay in our hearts - she was a constant source of love, encouragement, and strength. Her radiant smile and comforting words uplifted those around her, especially during life's most difficult moments. Her passions included shopping, singing, dancing, and spending time with loved ones. Throughout her life she brought laughter and joy to those around her. Whether she was worshiping through music or enjoying her favorite country tune, Lorene's voice and joyful spirit brought light to every room. Her quick wit, dance moves and sense of humor made her a delight to be around, and she never missed an opportunity to bring laughter and peace to others. Lorene will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, faith, and joy will forever live in the hearts of those she graced with her presence. The family wishes to send special thanks to her Primary Doctor Joan Hamblin, and the staff at Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. A celebration of Lorene's life will be held on: Saturday, August 9th, 2025 (The Salvation Army) 2211 S Hastings Way #4548, Eau Claire, WI 54701 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army in Lorene's memory, or Donations are gratefully accepted to help with funeral expenses.
