Lori M. Peterson, 54, of Eau Claire, died at her home on Monday, November 26, 2012, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Eau Claire on July 13, 1958, a daughter of Franklin and Rita (Fox) Peterson. She worked at Minnesota Wire and Cable Company in Eau Claire for 15+ years. In her free time she enjoyed her many pets over the years, traveling, biking, shopping, and being with her friends and family. Lori is survived by her brother, Mike Peterson and sister, Karen Peterson (Jim Robinson) both of Eau Claire; two nephews, Mike (Kelly) Peterson of Eau Claire and Mark (Angie) Peterson of Colfax; six great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great niece; two aunts, Lois Hopkins of Chippewa Falls and Jane (Jim) Deetz of Eleva; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmothers. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the funeral home with Msgr. Edmund Klimek officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice, as well as Lori's dear friends Dorothy and Connie for all of their care.
