Lorraine Frisvold, 88, formerly of Eau Claire died Thursday, January 5, 2006, at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home. She was born in Eau Claire on June 23, 1917, the daughter of Chris and Sophie (Wagnild) Frisvold.\r\nLorraine graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1935. She retired from Hoeppner-Bartlett Company as secretary - treasurer after 40 years of service.\r\nShe was a lifetime active member of First Lutheran Church, and enjoyed a large circle of friends in the community. \r\nLorraine is survived by two nephews, John (Marti) Frisvold of Naples, FL and James Frisvold of Milwaukee; five great nieces and nephews, Craig Frisvold of Hudson, Lynn Frisvold Williams of Noblesville, ID, Todd Frisvold of Maple Grove, MN, Eric Frisvold of Mundelein, IL, and Julie Frisvold Doberstein of Anoka, MN; and her dear friend, Irene Reed of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Cora Palubecki and Mildred Frisvold; and two brothers, Orville and Carl Frisvold.\r\nPer Lorraine's wishes no services are planned. Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral&Cremation Services assisted the family.\r\n
