Lorraine E. Schuch, 92, of Eau Claire died Monday, April 5, 2004 at Clairemont Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Eau Claire on September 12, 1911, the daughter of Hugo and Emma (Adler) Albert. Lorraine married Fred E. Schuch on October 19, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN. \r\nShe worked as a cook at Sacred Heart Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, baking cookies for her grandchildren, and fishing with Fred. \r\nSurvivors include her four sons, Gary (Marilyn), Charles, and Ralph (Susanne) all of Eau Claire, and Robert (Gayle) of Bruce; her daughter, Debra (Henry W.) Schumacher of Fall Creek; nine grandchildren, Jodie Koger, Pat, Mike, Joe, Steve and Daniel Schuch, Bobbette (Kevin) Hickson, and Brian and Jessica Schuch; four great-grandchildren, Celee, Cody and Elizabeth Schuch, and Jason Koger.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred in 1993; and her brother, Clifford Albert\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with S. Catherine Manning O.S.B officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
