Lorraine M. Seipel, 88, of Eau Claire and formerly of Altoona, died Monday, June 23, 2003 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born on March 26, 1915 in the town of Wheaton, the daughter of Eugene and Ida (Peterson) McCombs.\r\nLorraine married Elmer "Bob" Seipel in Eau Claire on May 28, 1933.\r\nShe worked as an administrative assistant at Dr.'s Frondahl and Dykema Chiropractic Office.\r\nSurvivors include her son, Richard (Shirley) Seipel of Loveland, OH; three granddaughters, Sheri (Kenneth) Burtt of The Woodlands, TX, Lori (Steven) Brown of Cincinnati, OH and Lisa Seipel of Huntington Beach, CA; two great granddaughters, Caitlin and Megan Brown; a sister, Delores Tietz; a sister-in-law, Margaret Hoffman; a brother-in-law, Le Roy Seipel, all of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband Elmer in 1995.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2003 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Altoona with Pastor David B. Karolus officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is assisting the family.\r\nMemorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
