Lorraine H. Stanton, 94, of Eau Claire, died on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Dove Healthcare West. She was born in Eau Claire, on August 17, 1918, to Joseph and Dora Kappers. She worked for Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company for over 40 years, retiring from there. Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Mary Jo (Ardell) Jackson of Monroe, WI and Barbara (Daniel) Marek of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Patrick (Michelle) Welsh, Jackie (Ron) Luety, Brad (Jess) Marek, and Scott (Maurine) Marek; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Shelbie, Brandon, Bryer, Nathanial, Tyler, Isaac, Kaitlyn, Emily, Nicole, and Tristan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos; and sister, Eleanore (Charles) Holden. The family would like to thank the staff at Dove Healthcare West for their wonderful care for Lorraine. Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Lemark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
