LORRAINE V. WESTLUND, 81, of 1930 Cleveland St., and formerly of 1513 Babcock St., died Wednesday, April 15, 1998 at her residence. She was born on December 1, 1916 in Eau Claire, to Johannes and Anna (Mogenson) Benson. She graduated from Eau Claire Sr. High School with the class of 1935. Lorraine married Severin D. Westlund on April 29, 1939 in Eau Claire. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Martha Circle. Lorraine had served as a volunteer at Luther Hospital.\r\nSurvivors include two daughters, Joan Westlund of Tuscon, AZ., and Janice Weiner of Altoona; a granddaughter, Lori (Tim) Weiner-Myers and a grandson, Ron Weiner; four great-grandchildren, Lance and Kayla Weiner, Akeisha and Meagan Myers; and a brother, Donald (Florence) Benson all of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Severin in 1984; her parents; and two brothers, Vernon and Norman Benson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
