Lucille Carol Anderson, 94, of Eau Claire, died on Sunday, August 31, 2008, at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire. She was born in Eau Claire on August 20, 1914, a daughter of John and Ellen (Stever) Anderson.\r\nLucille married Mencill G. Anderson on December 28, 1935, in Eau Claire.\r\nFollowing graduation from Eau Claire Senior High School, Lucille worked at National Pressure Cooker, Sterling Pulp&Paper, and then for Montgomery Wards for 15 years.\r\nShe was a member of the Chippewa Valley Gem and Mineral Society and enjoyed several winter trips to Arizona looking for agates. Lucille also belonged to the Northern Campers Club and camped for many years. \r\nShe was a member of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nLucille is survived by her three daughters, Joan (Charles) Hill of Sarona, WI, Karen Whitted of Eau Claire and Nancy (Pat) Caldwell of Winnipeg, Canada; nine grandchildren, Charles (Jean) Hill Jr. of Eau Claire, Cindy (Mark) Donnelly of Eau Claire, Christopher (Cynthia) Hill of Placerville, CA, Craig (Krystena Vasquez) Hill of Eau Claire, Ellen (Jeff) Chaney of St. Paul, MN, Julie (Patricia Marquez) Whitted of Robbinsdale, MN, Todd (Shaun Moore) Caldwell of Toronto, Canada, Kimberly (Tom Pratt) Caldwell of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, and Jennifer (Trevor) Poole of Nepean, Canada; 16 great-grandchildren, Stacey (John) Setzer of Belgrade, MN, Erin (fiancé, Brad Odegard) Hill of New Brunswick, ME, Rebekah, Andrew, and Sujay Donnelly of Eau Claire, McKenzie and Zachary Hill, of Placerville, CA, Alexandria Hill of Eau Claire, Elizabeth and Rachel Chaney of St. Paul, MN, Tisha and Jazmann Marquez of Robbinsdale, MN, William and Allison Pratt of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, Jared and Lauren Poole of Nepean, Canada; two great-great grandchildren, Diezel and Tristen Marquez of Robbinsdale, MN.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Mencill; her parents; three sisters, Olga Anderson, Mabel Anderson and Jeanette Severson; two brothers, Alfred and Lawrence Anderson; and a son-in-law, Neil Whitted. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September, 5, 2008, at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire with Pastor John E. Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery in Eau Claire.
