Lucille "Lucy" M. Bartlett, 82, of Eau Claire, died Monday, November 14, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born in Menomonie on December 1, 1922, the daughter of Leslie and Margaret Krause. \r\nLucy served in the U.S. Army during World War II until her Honorable Discharge in 1945. \r\nShe married Dorman R. Bartlett on June 23, 1945, in Downing, WI.\r\nShe was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, baking and going to the casino.\r\nHer family extends a special thank you to the 5th floor staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, and the staff at the Clairemont Nursing Home for their care and kindness for Lucy.\r\nLucille is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dorman; her son, Robert (Irene) Bartlett of Eau Claire; daughter, Judy (Jerry) Kilen of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Eugene (Sally) Bartlett of Eau Claire, Becky Kilen of Jacksonville, FL, Ron and Danny Kilen of Madison, WI; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lila Krause; two brothers, Richard and Neil Krause; a granddaughter, Dawn Kilen; grandson, Brian Bartlett; and a great grandson, Alexander Bartlett.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Joel A. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Popple Creek Cemetery in the Town of Grant, WI. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.\r\n
