Lucille M. Belay, 64, of Eau Claire died peacefully on November 2, 2007, at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by family after suffering a stroke due to an aneurysm.\r\nShe was born in Ely, Minnesota on May 4, 1943, the daughter of Joseph and Jennie (Tisovich) Mariani.\r\nLucille was a kind and generous person to all.\r\nLucille is survived by her children, Catherine (David) Farley of Rochester, MN; and Anthony (Jennifer) Belay of Poynette, WI; five grandchildren, Thomas, Michelle, Benjamin, Michael, and Samantha; two sisters, Marcea Mariani and Kathleen Krueger; and many family and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nPer her wishes, no funeral services will be held. Instead Lucille will return to her place of birth in a private burial ceremony.\r\nIn lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Hospital, 900 West Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701.\r\n
