Obituary

Lucille K. Money, 85, of Eau Claire, died Monday, January 16, 2006, at her home.She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 3, 1920, the daughter of Gilbert A. and Martha (Oelstrom) Kurtz. She graduated from Wauwatosa High School in 1938.\r\nLucille married George H. Money Jr. on October 18, 1941 in Wauwatosa, WI. They lived in Oconomowoc until moving to Barron in 1970. They were 30 year residents of Barron where they owned and operated the Barron Motel from 1970-82. They moved to Eau Claire in 2001, where they have been residents at Realife Co-op apartments.\r\nLucille's hobbies included a variety of art and hand work. She had recently completed her 96th sweater for World Wide Relief.\r\nLucille is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Marilyn (Jon) Halstead of Madison; son, Daniel (Bonalyn Barker) Money of Chetek; two grandsons, Edward Halstead and Peter Money; a niece and four nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Harvey and Raymond Kurtz.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Realife Co-op, 4115 Jeffers Road, Eau Claire. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral&Cremation Services assisted the family.\r\n
