Lyle K. Kelk of Eau Claire died Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Country Terrace in Altoona. He was born in Clifton, Wisconsin on December 31, 1917, a son of Carl and Lillie (Graf) Kelk.\r\nLyle married Margaret E. Gregory on October 8, 1958, at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nHe graduated from Tomah High School and later moved to Eau Claire in the 50's where he bartended at Wagner's Bowling Alley for many years. He later was a partner in Gateway Motors Automotive Sales. \r\nHe was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nLyle is survived by his daughter, Karen (Rollie) Maum of Beloit; two sons, Richard (Elizabeth) Kelk of Las Cruces, NM, and Jon (Michele) Kelk of St. Louis, MO; stepson, Larry Gregory of Eau Claire; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 1998; his parents; a brother, Curtis; and his sister, Doty Radmer.\r\nMemorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2008, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Eau Claire with Pastor Karen M. Hofstad officiating. Burial will be in Protestant Cemetery in Camp Douglas, WI at a later date. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral&Cremation Services is serving his family.\r\nFamily requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701.\r\n
