Lynda L. Davey, 54, formerly of 5525 Christopher Drive died Thursday, November 21, 2002 at Clairemont Nursing Home after a battle with cancer. She was born on September 18, 1948 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Walter and Eleanor (Zaeger) Saltness.\r\nShe was a trace inspector at Hutchinson Technology.\r\nLynda was a beautiful, gentle soul who devoted her entire life to her family. She always had room in her home for an injured critter or a lonely child in need of a listening ear. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.\r\nShe is survived by a daughter, Amy Saltness; two sons, Todd and Michael Davey; two grandsons, Erin and Brandon Saltness; sister, Mary Maloney; brother-in-law, Louie Higley all of Eau Claire; sister-in-law, Carol Saltness of Antigo, WI; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Saltness; a sister, Susan Higley; and brother-in-law, David Maloney.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2002 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Gary Davey officiating. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
