Lynn Ann Goss, 76, of Eau Claire, WI, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born to Richard and Lorraine (Holm) Everson on August 11, 1942. She married Patrick N. Goss on April 25, 1959, and together they raised two sons in the country and were life-long members of St. Bridget's Parish. Lynn attended Eau Claire Memorial High School. When her boys were both in school, she started her 30 year career with the Eau Claire School district in Food and Nutrition and retired as Head Cook and Kitchen Manager. Lynn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Patrick; sons, Tim (Gail) and Jeff (Holly); 5 grandchildren: Shauni, Travis, Jesse, Jonah and Christopher; brother, Dick Everson; and brother-in-law Elwin Zell. Lynn was loved by many and will be missed greatly by her family, relatives and good friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard J. Everson; mother, Lorraine Rathke; stepfather, LaVerne Rathke; sister, Sharon Zell; and grandson Dederick Lorentz-Goss. Lynn was a hard-working, dedicated wife and mother who always had a positive attitude. She loved to be outdoors with her family, especially horseback-riding as a young woman, fishing, camping and walking. She and Pat enjoyed many years of dancing, golfing and cheering on their grandkids in their many activities. Funeral Mass and a Celebration of Lynn's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 2801 N. 110th Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to mass at church. The interment will be after mass at St. Bridget's Cemetery.
