Mabel O. Bielefeldt, 91, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, April 15, 2008. She was born in Mondovi, WI on February 13, 1917, the daughter of John and Theolina (Bruvold) Julson.She grew up in East Bennett Valley near Mondovi.\r\nMabel married Edgar A. Bielefeldt on August 3, 1938 in Red Wing, MN.\r\nShe worked at J.C. Penny and K-Mart in Eau Claire for a short time.\r\nMabel was a member of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, and often attended services at her home church, East Bennett Valley.\r\nMabel was a kind, gracious and positive lady.\r\nMabel is survived by her son, John (Sharilyn) Bielefeldt of Eau Claire, and their children Paul Bielefeldt of Falls Church, VA, Miriam (Dean) Gehler of Altoona, WI, Rachel (Jason) Seipel and Luther Bielefeldt both of Eau Claire; son-in-law, Roger Rasmussen of White Bear Lake, MN and his daughter Amy (Perry) Canniff of Mahtomedi, MN; three great grandsons, Ryan, Andrew and Michael Canniff of Mahtomedi, MN; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edgar in 1986; her daughter, Dixie Rasmussen in 1997; three brothers and seven sisters. \r\nFuneral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., Eau Claire with Pastor John E. Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.\r\n
