MAE JESSIE (WORRALL) IHLA, 92, Eau Claire,WI died Saturday, December 18, 1999 at Dove Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Eau Claire. She was born May 19, 1907 to George and Cora (Thompson) Worrall in Thorne, North Dakota. She spent her childhood in Thorne and was employed as a Nurse's Aid in Rolette Hospital, Rolette, ND, for ten years. \r\nMae married Gilmer O. Ihla of Dunseith, ND, on October 24, 1929. They were members of Valley Lutheran Church in Rolette, ND. They moved to Forest Lake, MN in 1964, then to Cottage Grove, MN, in 1967 and Chandler, AZ in 1975. \r\nShe leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, Colleen June Spurgeon of Robbinsdale, MN, Gaynor Mae Arneson of Eau Claire; four grandchildren, Sara, Paul, Trent, and Kelly; a brother, Fred (Jewell) Worrall of Fort Benton, MT; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Gilmer in August, 1983; her parents; eight brothers, Joe, John, Dewey, Melvin, Ted, Robert, Frank and Charlie; four sisters, Minda, Mary, Minnie and a twin sister, Jessie Mae.\r\nThere will be no services. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services, Eau Claire served the family.
