On Friday, November 12, 2004, Mae E. Johnson, 93, of Eau Claire went to her heavenly home. She was born in the Town of Albany, Pepin County on August 7, 1911, the daughter of Harry and Flossie (Parizo) Goss.\r\nMae married Edwin O. Johnson on January 28, 1927, in St. Paul.\r\nShe enjoyed her family and many friends, vegetable and flower gardening, watching the birds and squirrels in her backyard, making popcorn balls, and listening to music.\r\nMae is survived by her son, Roger (Judy) of Onalaska; daughter-in-law, Pam Johnson of Eau Claire; six grandchildren, Nona Clifton of Durand, Lynn (Wanda) Johnson of Whitehall, Debi (Butch) Hurlburt of Durand, Jim (Terri) Johnson of Hudson, Kris (Tom) Franzini of Onalaska, and Brent Johnson of Cheyenne, WY; eight great-grandchildren, Kary Schock of Durand, Tiffany Biederman of Mondovi, Erin and Kyle Johnson, both of Hudson, Cassandra and Kayla Johnson, both of Whitehall, and Allison and Alex Franzini, both of Onalaska; three great-great grandchildren, Donna, Matthew, and Eric Schock; and extended family and friends.\r\nMae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; and two sons, Harold and Dale.\r\nGod granted Grandma Mae's final wish and she is now reunited with all the loved ones gone before her. We love you and will always miss you.\r\nFuneral services will be at 7 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2004, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Rock Falls Cemetery in the town of Rock Creek. Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
