Makena Marie Thesing-Ritter, infant daughter of Jodi and Scott Thesing-Ritter of Eau Claire, Wisconsin died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Childrens Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. She was born on Sunday, May 4, 2003 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Makena is also survived by her two sisters, Miranda and Morgan; her grandparents, Bernard and Susan Thesing of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Fern and the late James Ritter of Lewiston, Minnesota.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Newman Parish, at the Ecumenical Religious Center, 110 Garfield Ave., Eau Claire with Father Thomas Krieg officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the Ecumenical Religious Center. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nIn lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Makena's name at a children's hospital.
