MALCOM O. BRANDVOLD, 95 of 1015 6th Ave., died Friday, January 24, 1997 at Luther Hospital. He was born July 9, 1901 in Wilson,WI the son of Kristian and Mary (Christenson) Brandvold. Malcom married Maude Runkel on Sept. 1, 1928 in Stillwater,MN. She preceded him in death on June 8, 1990.\r\nHe was employed as a financial officer for Wilson Bank, Thorp Finance and retired from Threshermans Mutual in 1970. Malcom was member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1408, a 50 year member of both Menomonie Lodge #164 and Scottish Rite Valley of Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include a brother, Arthur W. Brandvold of Spring Valley; two nephews, William J. Brandvold of Mattoon,IL and James L. Brandvold of Phoenix,AZ.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Pastor Derril Peabody officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call 1:30 until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to Northwest Wisconsin Home Care.
