Marcus "Marc" D. Schultz, age 69, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Rochester, MN. Marc was born on December 7, 1948, in Eau Claire, to the late Ruslyn and Rosie (Pantermuehl) Schultz. Marc graduated from Regis High School with the Class of 1967. He worked as a supervisor for Cray Research before retiring as a supervisor from the State of Wisconsin in 2009. He dedicated his life to supporting his family and was wonderful at it. In 2015, he became a "papa" to his only grandchild. Marc was deeply loved and will be forever missed by his family and friends. He had an amazing sense of humor and had a way of telling stories and jokes. He was a member of American Legion Post 224 in Alma, WI, and volunteered for the Red Cross and the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport. Marc enjoyed wood working and building things, working on cars, hunting in Alma and fishing everywhere, especially Alaska and Canada, and spending time with his brothers at the hunting camp. The family wishes to thank Ardell and Michele Redetzke for all of their care of Marc and his family. And to all of his cousins, whom he considered brothers.
