Obituary

Margaret L. Black, 84, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born in Eau Claire on September 4, 1921, the daughter of John and Lena (Klosser) Paape. \r\nShe graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1939. Margaret married Donald Black in Eau Claire in 1945.\r\nShe enjoyed working in her flower gardens, fishing, walking, and spending time with her family and friends.\r\nShe volunteered for 10 years in the Foster Grand Parent Program with the Eau Claire school system.\r\nMargaret is survived by two sons, Michael (Mary) Black of Eau Claire and James (Debbie) Black of Livermore, Colorado; five grandchildren, Christopher (Tara) Black of Eau Claire, Derick (Erin) Black of Eau Claire, Alison (Dan) Rouse of Eau Claire, Kyle (Andria) Black of Fort Collin, CO, Kasey (Chum) Black of Longmont, CO, many great-grandchildren; a brother, Eugene (Lorraine) Paape of Eau Claire; and nieces and nephews.\r\nMargaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; and three sisters, Mary Ellen McMahon, Dorothy Flackoy, and Eleanor Seyberth.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Andrew Hinwood officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family. \r\n
