Margaret B. Durch, 83, of Eau Claire, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was born January 28, 1926, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alfred and Dorothy (Johns) Holte. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High in 1943.\r\nMargaret married Donald F. Durch on April 15, 1950, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nShe worked as an operator and clerk for the Wisconsin Telephone Company until retiring in May 1983.Margaret was a member of the Telecom Pioneers. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin in Hayward.Survivors include her husband, Donald; three sisters, Orlene Jones of Holmen, WI, Audrey Pedersen of Port Ludlow, WA, and Lavinia Belden of Altoona; a brother-in-law, James Campbell of Shell Knob, MO; many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Beverly Campbell; her brother, Robert Johns; nephew, Robert Pedersen; and two brothers-in-law, Leonard Jones and Leonard Pedersen.Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
