Margaret Adria Nerby, 87, 8651 -22nd Ave., Kenosha passed away Saturday, August 9, 1997 at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1909 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to James B. and Anna(Jirouch)Dougherty. She moved to Eau Claire in 1937 where she met and married William H. Nerby on May 29, 1941. They moved to Kenosha in 1960. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, the Kenosha Senior Citizens and a former member of the Kenosha Women's Club. She was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed cooking.\r\nSurvivors include three sisters, Bertha Wilson of Eau Claire, Thelma Prazak of San Antonio, TX, and Evelyn Akerhaugen of Skokie, IL ; six nieces and two nephews.\r\nMargaret was preceded in dath by her husband in 1976; two brothers, Robert and James Dougherty.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church in Kenosha. Friends may call two hours prior to services at the church. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Church Cemetery in Eau Claire. \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or the Hospice Alliance in Kenosha.\r\nLenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
