Margaret K. O'Malley, 85, of 303 Harvest Lane, Altoona, died Wednesday, September 17, 1997 at Luther Hospital. She was born February 8, 1912 to Dominick and Mary (Manchester) O'Malley in Eau Claire where she lived most of her life. She was graduated from Eau Claire High School, and from Eau Claire State Teachers College with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1934. Margaret taught English nine years at Hayward High School, did correspondence work in Chicago, psychometric testing in Eau Claire State Teachers' College, and various clerical duties at Uniroyal Tire Company until her retirement in 1974. \r\nSurvivors include her sister, Alicia O'Malley of Altoona; and several cousins.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Rev. Schuyler H. Van Gordon Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
