MARGARET O. ROGERS, age 84, of 833 Dorbe St., died Friday, November 14, 1997 at Luther Hospital. She was born October 7, 1913 in Madison, WI to Ralph and Elinor (Conover) Owen. Margaret moved to Eau Claire with her family in 1916, and to New York in 1940. She returned to Eau Claire in 1971.\r\nMargaret graduated from Westover School in Middlebury,CT, in 1932 and Webber College in Cambridge,MA in 1935.\r\nMargaret married John G. Rogers in Eau Claire on August 17, 1940 at Christ Church Cathedral.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, John Jr. (Ellen) of Alexandria, VA, Alan (Amy) of Kirtland, OH; a daughter, Margaret (Tim) Hinrichs of Hartland, WI; five grandchildren; and a brother, David (Dorothy) Owen of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1988; a son, Owen; a brother, Ralph Jr.; and a sister, Cora Owen.\r\nMemorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with The Very Rev. H. Scott Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the funeral home.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to Luther Hospital Auxiliary.
