Margaret (Marge) Lucille Bilbrey was born in Eau Claire May 27, 1923 to Frank and Minnie (Thoreson) Anderson. She attended Eau Claire Schools graduating from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1940. \r\nIn 1944, she married Leonard Haugen in Eau Claire. After his death in 1968, she married Bill Bilbrey in 1971 in Las Vegas. They celebrated 35 years together.\r\nMarge worked in retail at Jensen Drug Store and Ed Phillips and Sons for many years in Eau Claire.\r\nMarge Bilbrey died on September 16, 2006 at the Syverson Lutheran Home. The family wishes to thank the first floor staff of the Home for their wonderful kindness and patience in caring for Marge.\r\nHer devoted husband survives her. Her loving niece, Cheryl Poss of Eau Claire, her husband, Fred, and children Nick (Sara) Poss of Columbus, OH and Cheri Poss of Minneapolisalso survive her. \r\nFurther survivors include stepchildren Mike (Sara) Bilbrey of Stevens Point, Pat (Debbie) Bilbrey of River Falls, Mary Bilbrey of Milwaukee, and Tim Bilbrey of Eau Claire. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Jeff (Hilary) Bilbrey of Stevens Point and Jason (Jennifer) Bilbrey of Plover. Other survivors include step-great-grandchildren, Breck, Jake, and Faith Bilbrey of Stevens Point, Eryn and Ethan Bilbrey of Plover. Her devoted little darling Shi-Tzu, "Buttons," also survives her.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; and her dear sister, Lorraine Stetzer.\r\nPrivate family services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 the Lutheran Church Cemetery in Eau Claire.\r\nAnyone wishing to honor Marge's memory can do so with a donation to the Eau Claire Humane Society, 3900 Old Town Hall Road, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
