Maria K. Dorsey, age 68 of Eau Claire, died at her home on Friday, August 22, 2014. Maria was born to Paul and Ella (Jahn) Kuzjak, in Bavaria, Germany, in 1945. She grew up in Neillsville and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1964. She attended Beauty School in Eau Claire. As a Beautician, she always loved her ladies. Maria owned Dorsey's House of Style and Beaurty for 43 years. Over the years she enjoyed ceramics and being active with the PCCW of St. James the Greater Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, John Dorsey, JR.; her son, John "Jay" Dorsey III, of Minneapolis; brother, Valentin (Joyce) Kuzjak of Marshfield; her sister, Helen Counsell of Eau Claire; along with several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; older brother, Victor; her twin-brother, Mick; and brother-in-law, Dave Counsell Maria was the warm and loving kind of person that you liked when you met her and liked even more five minutes later. A Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire, with a public Prayer Vigil at 6:30 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th St. in Eau Claire, with Father Tom Krieg officiating.
