In her later years, she traveled with family to places such as Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, and the Caribbean. This past September Marian vacationed with her children in San Antonio, Texas. Besides spending time with her family, Marian enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, sewing, and playing games with friends. She had an active social life as part of the LaSalle Street neighborhood, a member of the St. Olaf church community, and as a participant in several card clubs and a widow/widowers group. Marian is survived by her six children, Luanne (Denny) Shea, Jane (Tom) Deinhammer, Pat (Jim) Menard, Tom Feck, Doug (Joan) Feck, and Brad (Tracy) Feck; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Phyllis Cooper, Bonnie Gabor, Rosemary (Larry) Wetzel; and a special sister-in-law, Marge Knetter.
