MARIE A. PETERSON, 86, of Eau Claire, died Monday, February 26, 2001 at Dove Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on September 25, 1914 in Stanley Wisconsin to James and Rosa (Radamacher) Nichols. She moved with her family to Eau Claire where she attended St. Mary's Academy.\r\nMarie worked at Shedd-Brown Manufacturing until retiring in 1980.\r\nMarie was a loving, giving and devoted mother and grandmother, someone who always had a smile. Survivors include two daughters, Rita (Frank) Peterson of Eau Claire, and Jane (Jim) Deetz of Eleva; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four great-great grand-children and two nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Frank Fox and Benard Peterson; a brother, Armond "Pickles" Nichols and a sister-in-law, Twylah Nichols.\r\nFuneral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Stanley. Relatives and friends may call from 5 p.m. Thursday until time of services at the funeral home.\r\n.
