MARIE JENSEN, 94, formerly of 1831 Whipple St., died Friday, October 22, 1999 at the Clairemont. She was born April 29, 1905 to Carl and Minnie (Hanson) Dahl in the town of Drammen. She was baptized at Drammen Lutheran Church. Marie married James C. Jensen in Winona, Minnesota on October 31, 1929. She did house cleaning and then later worked at Webster Candy Company until retiring in 1970. She was a member of First Lutheran Church since 1930. \r\nSurvivors include a son-in-law, Gordon Gilchrist of Eau Claire; two grandsons, Gary (Jane) Gilchrist of Fairchild and Tim Gilchrist of Eau Claire; granddaughter, Jill (Mickey) Casey of Madison; five great grandchildren, Dawn (Royce) Opsal, and Laurie, Colleen, Patricia and John Casey; two great-great grandchildren, Courtney and Tyler Opsal; a sister, Anna Jorgenson of California; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nMarie was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1977; daughter, Jeanine Gilchrist; three sisters, Pauline, Emma and Julia; and five brothers, Fred , Anton, John, Hans and Martin.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson of First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from noon Tuesday until time of services at the funeral home.
