Marie H. Wagner, 105, of 1706 Laurel Avenue, formerly of Bloomer, died Monday May 22, 1995 at Luther Hospital.\r\nMarie was born October 27, 1889 at Whitewater,Wisconsin to Gustave and Mathilda Weiher. She moved with her family to Bloomer at the age of two.\r\nMarie married Joseph Wagner on September 2, 1912 in Chippewa Falls. They farmed at Rice Lake for several years and then moved to Bloomer.\r\nShe had been an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church,Bloomer and St. John's Ladies Aid.\r\nMarie loved to crotchet and do other hand work.\r\nShe is survived by a daughter, Alice Hanson of Eau Claire; a sister, Emma Moon of Bloomer; nieces, nephews and many friends.\r\nMarie was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, Otto,Fred,William and Robert; a sister, Alena Weideman.Funeral Services were held Wednesday, May 24, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor N. Ralph Huget officiating. Burial was in Bloomer City Cemetery.\r\nLenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, Eau Claire, served the family.
