Marilyn C. (Berry) Taylor, 62, of Eau Claire, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, at home following a battle with cancer. Marilyn was born September 24, 1951, in Petoskey, MI to Max and Carol (Arnold) Berry. Marilyn graduated from Shepherd High School in MI and Michigan State University. Marilyn led a life of service to others; she started her career path as a special education teacher, spent many years running a day care center, and most recently provided in home care for individuals with special needs. Marilyn's favorite past time's included; traveling, telling stories, watching Michigan state and Packer's football games, and spending time with her family and friends. Marilyn will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and strong will. Marilyn is survived by her husband ,Tracy, of Eau Claire; son, Steven (Melanie) Taylor, of Nashville, TN; daughters, Elizabeth Spooner of Eau Claire; and Allison Taylor of Eau Claire; brothers, Dan Berry, of Snohomish, WA, Tom Berry of Rapid City, SD, Ralph Berry of Shepherd, MI, and Don Berry of Vestaburg, MI; grandchildren, Kellen, Avery, Addalyn, Anne Claire, and Kinley. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, the many people she cared for, and numerous good friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Lenmark Gosmrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, WI. Visitation will be two hours prior to the memorial service. Chaplain Carol Rasmussen will be officiating.
