Marion F. Lee, 88, of Eau Claire died Thursday, November 16, 2006, at her home. She was born in Deronda, Wisconsin on July 23, 1918, the daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Gilbertson) Kjeseth. Marion was the second born of a family of seven children.\r\nShe attended grade school at High Bridge near Deronda, and graduated from Amery High School with the class of 1935. Marion then attended Normal School at St. Croix Falls for teaching. There she changed course and went into nurses training at Mauston, WI, graduating in 1938. Marion took her nursing internship at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, where she worked over 42 years as night nurse supervisor retiring in 1984.\r\nMarion married Forrest "Fod" E. Lee in Mondovi, Wisconsin on June 28, 1948.\r\nShe was a member of First Lutheran Church and appreciated many visits at her home with Carole Everson with First Lutheran Church Lay Ministry. Marion enjoyed and looked forward to birthday gatherings with the Luther Hospital Nurse's Birthday Club and visiting with family and friends. \r\nMarion was an avid reader; she kept abreast of current events, and followed the Green Bay Packers. She loved to work crossword puzzles, and play cribbage, scrabble and backgammon. She was one of the most generous spirits to ever live. She cared for her family and all others she met, and was often the first to come forward to provide for others with encouragement, spiritual leadership and help. Marion was supportive of numerous organizations in the Eau Claire Community. She exemplified the meaning of Life ..... that we are all here for EACH OTHER!\r\nShe leaves to mourn her four brothers, Calvin Kjeseth, Arthur (Beverly) Kjeseth, and Ralph (Carol) Kjeseth all of Amery; and Philip (Reta) Kjeseth of New Richmond; sister-in-law, Myrna Brown of Amery; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends including Dewey Lee, and close neighbors Bobbi Jo Toy and her son Timothy R. Toy Schwagel of Eau Claire.\r\nMarion was preceded in death by her husband, Fod in 1960; her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Willard Kjeseth; and her niece Donna Mae Gustafson. \r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 24, 2006, at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire with Pastor Amy Odgren officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving her family.\r\nIn lieu of flowers her family requests memorials be directed to the donor's choice.\r\n \r\n
