MARION T. WIRTH, 84, passed away from her suffering and earthly home, Saturday, January 20, 2001 at Syverson Lutheran Home where she had been a resident since December 1999. \r\nMarion came into this world on a very cold night, February 11, 1916 in Prairie Farm, Wisconsin. She was the first of eight children born to Christian and Emma (Haugen) Sather.\r\nMarion worked over 22 years at Sacred Heart Hospital as a cook and head baker. She loved making crafts, quilts, afghans, clothing, and wood projects. Her talents included crocheting, knitting, tatting, painting, and making dolls. \r\nShe had a way of making people happy. Her warm, friendly smile and quiet, loving nature will sadly miss by her family and friends \r\nSurvivors include two sons, Gerald "Red" (Frances) of Eau Claire and Dale (Marilyn) of Flagstaff, AZ; a daughter, Marilyn (Herbert) Morrell of Peoria, AZ; two brothers, Robert Sather of Chetek and Newton Sather of Ridgeland; three sisters, Helen (Duard) Cole of Sand Creek, Ella Christopherson of Ridgeland, and Dorothy Kruschke of Eau Claire; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; a son Ralph; a granddaughter, Joy Wirth; and two brothers, Ivan and LaVerne Sather. \r\nFuneral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church,with Pastor Joel A. Hoelter officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.\r\n
