\r\nMarjorie I. Bolles, 85, of Sparta, formerly of Eau Claire died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Sparta, WI. \r\nShe was born in Eau Claire, WI, on November 20, 1925, the daughter of James and Edna (Garlie) Mitchell. \r\nMarjorie graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1945. \r\nOn July 5, 1948, she married Donald W. Bolles in Eau Claire at Grace Lutheran Church.\r\nShe was a charter member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and very active with the church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing cards, bowling and even learned to shoot pool in her 60's. Family was very important to Marjorie, and she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. \r\nMarjorie is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Walter) Bobst of Sparta; son, Scott Bolles of Bozeman, MT; grandchild, Ariane Davis and great-grandchildren, Aaron and Jarod Davis, all of Sussex, WI. She is also survived by a niece, nephews, cousins and friends.\r\nMarjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1993; parents, James and Edna Mitchell; and brother, James E. Mitchell. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1120 Cedar St. in Eau Claire with Pastor Donald Wisner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at church only.\r\nThe family wishes to thank the staff at Rolling Hills for their kindness and loving care of Marj.\r\n
