Marjorie "Chris" Tusken, 85, of 619 Flaten Court, Eau Claire, died Saturday, June 29, 2002 at The Clairemont. She was born on January 2, 1917 in Highland, WI to Melvin and Esther (Anderson) Christopher. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1935.\r\nChris married Edward J. Tusken in Eau Claire on October 5, 1940.\r\nShe began working at Sears Roebuck&Company in 1935 in the Drapery and Interior Decorating Department retiring after 44 years.\r\nChris was a lifetime member of Grace Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Ed; brother, Woodrow (Elvera) Christopher of Worthington, MN; sister, Joyce (Werner) Taves of Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Norma Christopher and Maxine Christopher; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Anderson all of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Boyd, Roger, Gaige, Milton and Irving Christopher; three sisters, Gertrude Anderson and infant sisters, Bernice and Margaret Christopher. \r\nMemorial services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Rolf A. Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
