MARJORIE A. WOLTER, age 48, of 3538 Chippewa River Dr., died Friday, March 28, 1997, at Luther Hospital. She was born September 16, 1948 in Rhinelander to John and Margaret (Chuckle) Maney. Margi grew up in Eagle River where she graduated from Eagle River High School in 1966. She graduated from UW-Madison in 1970 with a degree in English Education. Margi married Timothy P. Wolter on June 27, 1970 in Eagle River. They moved to Eau Claire in 1971 where she taught at DeLong Junior High until 1973 when they moved to Davenport, IA. Margi and Tim returned to Eau Claire in 1976 where they founded Wolter Chiropractic Office. She was owner and operator of Embroideworks in Eau Claire. Margi was an active member of St. Olaf's Catholic Church.\r\nMargi valued love, family and friendships. Her kindness and caring knew no boundaries. Her gifts included creative writing and design. Margi loved reading, animals, fly fishing, and the outdoors. Her inner strength enabled her to rise above adversity in her life.\r\nAll who knew her treasure the part of their lives she touched. Margi taught us all how to love, to be a friend, and to live life to its fullest.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Tim; a brother, Mark Maney and an aunt, Donna Bellman both of Eagle River; many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Tom.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Olaf's Catholic Church. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
