Martha C. Kuehn, 99, of Eau Claire, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Dove Healthcare – West, in Eau Claire. Martha was born in Mazomanie, WI, on November 1, 1916, the second child of fifteen born to Wolfgang and Elizabeth (Dohm) Statz. Martha married Sylvester Kuehn on December 4, 1946 in Chippewa Falls. Martha was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Eau Claire, and the oldest member of the parish. Martha cherished her family and home. She will be sadly missed by all. Martha is survived by her children, Barbara (Jerry) Marick, of Bloomington, MN, Linda (Paul) Charbonneau of Mondovi, WI, Deborah (Greg) Bohlinger of Fall Creek, WI, and David (Cindy) Kuehn of Eau Claire; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne and Jeanette; and brothers, Ralph, Wilbert, Vince and Bill. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sylvester; son, John and daughter-in- law Cheri Kuehn of Appleton, WI; sisters, Elizabeth, Mary, Angeline and Ann; and brothers George, John, Louis and Gilbert. Funeral Services for Martha will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 416 N. Dewey, St., Eau Claire, with Fr. George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery, in the township of Seymour, WI, following services. Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Eau Claire, is assisting her family.
