MARTHA R. TOY, 100, passed away Friday, July 16, 1999 at Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born August 26, 1898 in the town of Union, Eau Claire County, the daughter of Charles M. and Julia (LaFosse) Anderson. \r\nIn April 1920, Martha married Ralph E. Toy. They farmed in the townships of Howard and Wheaton until 1944, when they moved to Eau Claire, where she resided the rest of her life.\r\nMartha was a member of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Glenn (Dorothy) Toy of Boise, Idaho, Jack (Joanne) Toy of Fargo, N.D.; a daughter, Jean (Orville) Todahl of Eleva; nine grandchildren, Susan (George) Sutor, Linda Covey, Richard (Kayla) Toy, Kathleen (Richard) Weber, Edwin (Jean) Todahl, Steven Toy, Paul (Linda) Toy, Rebecca (Jim) Parus, Jeffrey (Anne) Toy, and 15 great-grandchildren \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1964; a grandson, Bradley Toy; two brothers, Carl and Fred Anderson; and two sisters, Effie Olson and Ethel Thorn.\r\nFuneral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, with Reverend Sandee D. Christoffersen officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the town of Washington. Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ.
