Marvel A. Mago, 69, of Altoona, WI, passed away Friday, July 21, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born in Hayward, Wisconsin on December 23, 1936, the daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth (Butler) Schultz. \r\nMarvel graduated from UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing in 1977. \r\nShe served in the U.S. Navy at Bethesda Naval Hospital until her honorable discharge in 1959.\r\nMarvel was a Registered Nurse for 27 years at Sacred Heart Hospital until retiring in July 2004. \r\nShe is survived by her twin sons, John Mago of Andover, MN and Mike Mago of Altoona; two daughters, Lisa Mago of Coon Rapids, MN and Julie Mago-Harris of Altoona; seven grandchildren, Dane, Teagan, Alyssa, Lucas, Dalton, Armoney, and Jonah Mago; two brothers, Richard Schultz of Hayward, WI and Frederick (Norma) Schultz of Lake Port, FL; three sisters, Betty (Jerry) Anderson of Amery, WI, Sally (Robert) Baker of Chippewa Falls, and Thamer Herrell of Altoona; her sister-in-law, Connie Schultz of St. Paul, MN; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nMarvel was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Buster Schultz.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Klimek officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be 9 a.m. Wednesday in Lutheran Church Cemetery, Eau Claire where American Legion Post #53 will conduct military graveside rites. \r\n \r\n
