Marvin D. Pueschner, 71, of Eau Claire, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Marvin was born in Medford, WI, on January 27, 1941, a son of Henry J. and Ann R. (Marti) Pueschner. Marvin married Gaye M. Gustafson on December 5, 1964, at Salem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN. Marvin worked for AT&T. Marvin was a member of Unity Christ Center, Town of Union VFW Post #7232, and Telephone Pioneers. Marvin survived by his wife, Gaye; son, Gordon (Beata) Pueschner of Eagan, MN; 2 daughters, Kerry (Thomas) Rademacher of St. Louis Park, MN, and Cheri (David) Rivers of Zimmerman, MN; 4 grandchildren, Zachery, Sierra, Shane, and Apolonia; brother, Gerald (Rosie) Pueschner of Prentice, WI; and sister, Bonnie (Jerry) Lolmaugh of Woodsworth, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Loren Pueschner. A celebration of Marvin's life will be held at 10:30am, on Monday, August 6, 2012, at Unity Christ Center, 1808 Folsom St. in Eau Claire, with Rev. Sandra McKinney officiating. Visitation will begin one half hour prior to the celebration. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #53 at Unity Christ Center. Gaye requested memorials be directed to Veterans Unmet Needs Program or VFW Post #7232 Town of Union
