Bilbrey, 54, of Milwaukee, WI, died Friday,\r\nSeptember 23, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.\r\n\r\nMary was born on October 3, 1956, to Willis and Cecelia\r\n(Knuese) Bilbrey in Milwaukee, WI. She moved with her family to Eau Claire, and\r\ngraduated from Memorial High School. Mary loved learning and continued to take\r\nclasses at various universities over the course of her life, including Brigham\r\nYoung University in Utah and Alverno College in Milwaukee.\r\n\r\nMary began her career with the Federal Bureau of\r\nInvestigation on March 23, 1980 as a Clerk Typist in the Milwaukee Field\r\nOffice. As the most experienced typist, Mary was the first in the Stenographer\r\nPool to use a computer for word processing, an enviable position at the time.\r\nIn 1985, Mary was promoted to an Intelligence Analyst position, which she held\r\nuntil her retirement on August 14, 2009. During her career, Mary made numerous\r\ncontributions to the intelligence and investigative missions of the FBI. She\r\nworked on matters involving gangs, organized crime, international terrorism,\r\nand computer intrusions. Of these, Mary was most passionate about her work in\r\nthe cyber arena. Mary's friends and co-workers at the FBI said that Mary's\r\ncontributions to the FBI will never be forgotten.\r\n\r\nMary loved reading and always had a book nearby. She loved\r\nto read and write poetry, and enjoyed researching family history and learning\r\nnew things. Her cats brought her much joy.\r\n\r\nMary is survived by her three brothers, Michael (Sara)\r\nBilbrey of Stevens Point, WI, Patrick (Debra) Bilbrey of River Falls, WI, and\r\nTimothy Bilbrey of Eau Claire, WI; two nephews, Jeffrey (Hilary) Bilbrey of\r\nStevens Point, WI, and Jason (Jennifer) Bilbrey of Plover, WI; and seven\r\ngreat-nieces and great-nephews, Eryn, Breck, Jake, Ethan, Faith, Zachary, and\r\nMatthew.
