Mary A. DuLac, 84, of Eau Claire died Sunday, August 12, 2007, at her home with her family by her side. \r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on May 27, 1923, the daughter of John and Irene (Lennie) Pearson.\r\nMary married Arthur R. "Pete" DuLac on July 14, 1945 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where they were both lifetime members. He passed away December 17, 2001.\r\nMary was a very active member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served as a member and past president of St. Anne's Society. She also was active on the church Finance Committee and as a Eucharistic minister.\r\nMary's hobbies included fishing and gardening. She dedicated her entire life to taking care of her family. She could always be found in attendance at all of her grandchildren's school and sporting events.\r\nMary is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Duane) Brandner of Eau Claire; a son, Michael DuLac of Eau Claire; a granddaughter, Rebecca (Ryan) Fedie of Portland, OR; a grandson, Benjamin Brandner of Eau Claire; three sisters, Beatrice Farley of Leawood, KS, Janet (Ralph) Statz of Eau Claire, and Joan (Charles) Kurth of Osseo; a sister-in-law, Audrey Pearson of Eau Claire; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Jack Pearson; and brothers-in-law, Robert Farley and Jim Kurth.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father William A. Dhein officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of Mass at church. \r\nIn Lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made to the charity of your choice in honor of Mary.\r\n \r\n
