Mary Laura Fedie, 94, of Eau Claire died Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Clairemont Nursing Home. She was born in the township of Lima, Wisconsin on March 28, 1914, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Poeschel) Koller.\r\nFollowing graduation from Lima High School, Mary moved to Eau Claire where she worked at Sacred Heart Hospital.\r\nMary married Florian P. Fedie on February 24, 1941, in Lima, Wisconsin.\r\nShe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.\r\nShe is survived by two daughters, Joan (Ray) Weisenbeck of Lake Holcombe, and Karen (Ken) Seipel of Cottage Grove, MN; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her sister, Florence Koller of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband Florian in 1996; her parents; four brothers, Joseph, Robert, John and Alfred Koller; a sister, Lucille Poeschel; and her great grandson, Jarrett Weisenbeck. \r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Eau Claire with Father William A. Dhein celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. There will be a 6:30 p.m. Public Prayer Service Thursday evening at the funeral home.\r\n
