MARY HELEN JOHNSON, 64, of 115 Illinois St., Eau Claire, died Friday, April 20, 2001 at her home. She was born on January 7, 1937 in Eau Claire to Carl and Helen (Nelson) Huber. Mary graduated from Regis High School in 1955. She married Arnold I. Johnson on August 8, 1959 at St. James Catholic Church in Eau Claire.\r\nMary was employed at Piper-Jaffray Stock Brokerage firm for 43 years, until retiring this past December. She was a very loving and giving wife, mother, sister, and friend. \r\nSurvivors include her daughters, Carla Johnson of Inver Grove Heights, MN,Angie Johnson (Shige Soma) of Minneapolis, MN and Joan Gabriel; three brothers, Paul J. (Dolores) Huber of Minneapolis, William C. (Kathleen "Patti") Huber of Los Angeles and David T. (Amanda) Huber of St. Joseph, MN; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Arnold in 1994.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
