Obituary

Mary A. Henning, 63, of Altoona died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at her home. She was born December 27, 1939 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, the daughter of Durward and Irene (Burgess) Howell.\r\nMary married Dale Heintz in 1963. She later married Leonard I. Henning on February 1, 1991 in Stillwater, MN.\r\nShe was a secretary at Presto Industries for 27 years until her retirement in 1994.\r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Mary was an avid collector of antiques and marbles. She enjoyed crocheting, listening to the Brewer's, and bowling with her friends at Wagner's.\r\nShe is survived by her husband, Leonard; a daughter, Jackie (John) Krumenauer of Eau Claire; two sons, Todd (Beth) Voss of Eau Claire and Chris (Ann) Heintz of Louisville, KY; five grandchildren, Jamie and Jill Krumenauer, Tasha and Misty Voss, and John Heintz; two step-sons, Henry (Lynn) Henning of Fall Creek and Jeffrey (Jackie) Henning of Eau Claire; two step-daughters, Agusta Lillis of Eau Claire and Angela (Jason) Fernander of Beach Park, IL; twelve step-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur (Yvonne) Howell of Milwaukee; a nephew and nieces; and her dog Indy.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard Howell.\r\nMemorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Rolf Nestingen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and family may call 4-7 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church chapel. \r\nFamily requests memorials be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W. Grand Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54703.
