Mary F. Johnson, 62, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Mary was born on September 7, 1949, in Eau Claire, to Palmer and Marcella (Hauptman) Johnson. She graduated from Regis High School with the class of 1968. Mary worked at Century Chrysler Dodge and Chilson Motors in Lake Hallie for 38 years. She was an active member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing crafts, making greeting cards and stamping. Mary is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Cheryl) Johnson, Steve (Debbra Hams) Johnson; one sister, Susan (Rollie) Bembnister; one brother-in-law, Orin Polenz, all of Eau Claire; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Virginia Polenz; and one brother, Michael Johnson. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th St. in Eau Claire with Father John A. Schultz officiating. A Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home WEST CHAPEL, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire with a Public Prayer Vigil at 6:00 p.m., and again one hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Eau Claire.
